Where it started:

I was raised in New Braunfels and pursued my higher education at Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas, where I studied Engineering and Biology. It was during my college years that I met my wonderful wife at the college bookstore, where I managed to make her laugh and she showed me a smile that I would come to adore. I still devote most of my time to eliciting that smile as we navigate this incredible journey of adulthood together. However, life wasn't always rosy; my past self made choices that led to heartache and pain. It was Jesus who rescued me from a downward spiral, mended my heart, and taught me how to love and be a faithful steward of God's blessings and gifts..

Life is too precious to let moments slip by, and they pass too swiftly to grasp. I realized this when I saw how quickly our family was growing, how soon our girls shed their baby cheeks and began rolling their eyes. I recognized how much I had missed, how my self-centered life had caused me to overlook those fleeting moments, now only preserved in memory. That's when I purchased a camera, took our family on a vacation, and resolved to create tangible memories, not just those confined to dreams. It filled me with joy to witness the beauty of the world God created and the beauty of the family He blessed me with.
